Last Exit To Nowhere - 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY

HAL, the automated co-star of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY (1969), has always felt like the ultimate annoying co-worker, so we used that as a springboard to create this concept of office problems. The biggest struggle with this ad was finding a silver refrigerator with enough space in front of it to place the camera. The orange and yellow costume choices are a tip of the hat to space suits that are worn in Kubrick’s film. And just like in our spot for THE SHINING we paid great attention to centering the product to reflect Kubrick’s symmetrical style.
