Last Exit To Nowhere - THE SHINING

How do you recreate the infamous “Gold Room” from Stanley Kubrick’s THE SHINING (1980) on a budget? Our solution was don’t show the whole thing, but focus on the most iconic element - the illuminated bar. After scouring the earth for nearly an hour to find the perfect bar, we finally decided to just build a four foot segment of the bar and shoot it from above. Then we broke out our rulers and centered the product dead center to replicate Kubrick’s legendary symmetrical framing.
